Jonathan Miron’s desire to connect with audiences of all cultures has inspired and taken him on an expansive journey to broaden his artistic palate – from performances at Oliver Beer’s Vessel Orchestra at The MET Breuer; to appearing with Tony and Grammy Award winner Ben Platt at  Clive Davis’ famed pre-Grammy party; to a feature performance at Carnegie Hall’s Studio 57 program and impromptu jams with Grammy-nominated Cuban percussionist Pedrito Martinez at NYC’s 92nd Street Y.

Jonathan is the founder and co-director of Global Perspectives, an educational program that provides participants with the opportunity to learn artistic traditions from around the world from master artists, employing the performing arts as a model for exploring global citizenship within our increasingly interconnected world. This program was most recently featured at Juilliard culminating in a performance at Lincoln Center’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

In collaboration with cellist Philip Sheegog, Jonathan's genre-bending duo ARKAI creates compositions and arrangements that explore diverse sound worlds. ARKAI is the recipient of a Chamber Music America Ensemble Forward grant made possible with generous support from the New York Community Trust. Follow the journey at www.arkaimusic.com
